Partying Safer

Building consent culture, one party at a time

Can we party, hook-up, have fun, and get consent? HECK YES! This training focuses on what party hosts and guests can do to create safer parties and social spaces by interrogating the role of social norms and substance use on campus and empowering students to develop bystander intervention techniques. We speak frankly about the intersections of alcohol, substances, and consent, and investigate 'grey areas' as well as the benefits of sober hook-ups.

FLIRTING: It's Not Dead Yet!

What is flirting, really? A way to meet a partner, a way to make new friends, a way to put feelers out for a potential hookup? We say all of the above, and then some!

Flirting: we all know the word but what does it mean? For such a common act of human interaction, there is no one-size-fits all definition. Regardless of if you're stuck wondering if they were flirting or just being nice, we believe consensual flirting is still possible! ;)

This workshop digs into this nuance, and explores the intersections of flirting, romance, seduction, hook-ups, and affirmative consent.

Target audience: College students, student clubs, classes, or other campus groups
Time:
60-90 mins
Program needs: Projector/video capabilities preferred

Target audience: College students, student clubs, classes, or other campus groups, or faculty and administrators
Time:
60-90 mins
Program needs: Projector/video capabilities preferred
